Boasting a full 360 degree panning range, a powerful 28x optical zoom and the ability to record at HD720p quality resolution, the Sony SNC-ER550 Rapid-Dome pan-tilt-zoom IP camera is ideal for monitoring large indoor areas, such as department stores and airport terminals.
Using DEPA video analytics, the camera is able to filter out aspects such as swaying branches as false alarms, ensuring that critical events are not missed and that storage space is not wasted. Areas of focus can be marked using privacy masking to capture movement in areas such as doorways and entrances for a focused security solution.
Wide Dynamic range adjusts the camera to capture the best possible image during difficult lighting conditions, with a built-in infrared-cut filter to switch from full color to monochrome video, providing constant surveillance when used with an infrared light source (sold separately).
The SNC-ER550 has an SD card slot built in, providing a more localized recording solution and a useful backup recording solution in the event of network failure. Power over Ethernet compatibility allows the camera to receive power and network connectivity using a single cat5 cable, saving on wiring and installation.
